What Are People Doing For Winter?

Students at South East High School are excited about winter break.

What do people do over the winter break? Some people don’t even do anything except watch television. Most just spend time with their family while some go with their friends or boyfriend or girlfriend and spend time there. Since teens are older they want to spend time with other people. The things they mostly do are that they go to the movies, ice skating, or theme parks. Some just go to the malls and shop or just go and hang-out.
Crystal Rodriguez, a freshman at SEHS, said that she will be spending winter break with her family. Rodriguez said, “I’m going to go ice skating.” Rodriguez said she will stay home over winter break. Rodriguez also said that on Christmas Eve she will be going to her aunt’s house. She said, “I will be going to her house because that’s where we will be receiving our gifts.” Rodriguez said, “I plan on making my winter break fun by going to Big Bear for a week and then come back and go ice skating with my friends.”
Clara Brena, a freshman at SEHS, said that she is going camping and to other places. Brena said, “I am going to spend my winter break with my family and friends.” Brena said, “I am going to make it fun by doing a lot of things I planned with my family.” She said that she would be doing this as soon as school ends.
Giselle Sanchez, a freshman at SEHS, said that her winter break was going to be spent with her family. Sanchez said, “I am going to Texas to spend time with my family.” Sanchez said, “I plan on going there right after we get out from school.” Sanchez said she is going there because her mom wants to go there for the holidays. She also said that she plans on spending time with her boyfriend.
Therefore, the holidays are spent with family and friends because it’s one of the best ways to enjoy their winter break. Others, of course, choose to stay home or go to their friend’s house. Any way the winter break is spent students plan to have lots of fun and enjoy their time.
